Resource description

The aim of this paper is to explore the interaction of cultural values with student study attitudes and behaviour. In the endeavour to explicate multiple and unarticulated layers of interpretations of emergent and precise meaning of study approaches that tertiary students consider important across cultures, the authors propose an interpretive ethnographic approach in a naturalistic environment. Findings from a pilot ethnographic study are presented and briefly discussed.
