Resource description

The integration-responsiveness framework has been used extensively in the international business and strategy literature and has proven useful in describing the issues being grappled with by managers in multinational organizations. In an extensive review of the literature and broader analysis of the domain of Integration and Responsiveness the authors raise some concerns about the way in which investigators have operationalized the initial ideas of Prahalad and Doz. They suggest that rather than thinking about Integration and Responsiveness they may need to operationalize the environmental pressures facing multinationals at a more fundamental level.
